Himachal Pradesh is one state which is renowned for its Himalayan mountain series and its name is derived from it only. Besides, temples, rivers, fruits, beautiful landscapes and mythological importance make the state a tourist destination which is on the radar of all national and international tourists.

People from foreign countries need to apply for Visa before coming to India, though some countries have a permit to visa on arrival. For the local Indian visitors, there’s a decent transportation facility like airplane (Shimla airport), bus route, railways, private and personal vehicle.
 
Distance of Himachal from national capital :- The state is situated at a distance of 342.5 km from New Delhi, which takes around 6-7 hours to reach here through a bus, while less than an hour with an aeroplane.
 
Best Weather :- Any time of the year is good to visit this land. It’s always beaming with pleasant weather for tourists even during winter, summer, spring or any other season, people have a great time.
 
Area and population :- The area of the state is 55673 sqm and its population is 6,864,602 as per the counting of 2011.

Kullu: -  This city is world renowned for its snow laden mountains and adventure sports. Apart from that Bijli Mahadev temple, Kheer Ganga, Hot Springs at Manikaran, Chandrakhani Pass and much more.
 
Manali: - This town is equipped with nature’s beauty Manu temple, Solang Valley, Jogini waterfall, Beas river,  Gadhan Thekchhokling Gompa Monastery etc.
 
Dharamshala: - This is also known as Switzerland of the country. It’s blessed with the picturesque sights all over that one doesn’t get over looking at them.
 
Dalhousie: - This hill station is situated at the heart of the district Chamba.
